These sandals were lighter and more supportive than I had expected. I was able to wear them all day for a lot of walking the very first time I put them on. It was like walking on a cloud, is my inadequate way of describing how comfortable they were. Given I am constantly wearing them when I am berry picking, I will soon test whether or not I can toss them into the washing machine on a gentle cycle like I do with other sandals with web straps.
